Itinerary
Day 1 : London - Singapore - Saigon
Fly with Singapore Airlines to Saigon via Singapore*. Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City Airport, meet your local guide who will escort you to the Caravelle Hotel, Saigon.
Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Engage all of your senses on a morning sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh with your local guide. Visit the Reunification Palace (formerly known as the Presidential Palace), the picturesque colonial City Hall, General Post Office, former US Embassy, bustling Ben Thanh Market and Notre-Dame Basilica. Lunch can be enjoyed at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel with the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 3 : Ho Chi Minh - Mỹ Tho - Cái Bè
This morning, you are transferred by coach to the port at Mỹ Tho where you will embark aboard Cruiseco Adventurer, your floating hotel for the next seven nights. A welcome lunch with drinks will be served onboard in the lounge as you cruise towards Cái Bè. Spend the afternoon relaxing on deck as the scenery glides by. This evening a gourmet dinner is served onboard, followed by folk performances about life on the Mekong Delta. The ship will moor overnight midstream near Cái Bè.

Day 4 : Cái Bè - Sa Đéc
After breakfast, a local boat will take you to visit the floating markets of Cái Bè, followed by the French Gothic Cathedral, a coconut candy factory, rice paper and pop rice factories. Lunch will be served back onboard as the ship sails onwards to Sa Đéc. Spend the afternoon visiting Sa Đéc, the hometown of Marguerite Duras' lover, including the old house of Huynh Thy le and the Fujian Temple. Mid-afternoon, rejoin the Cruiseco Adventurer as it sets sail for Tân Châu. In the evening cocktails and dinner will be enjoyed onboard.

Day 5 : Tân Châu, Border Crossing
Today's highlight is Tân Châu, where you can enjoy sightseeing in local boats as they navigate narrow channels to visit an evergreen island. Later, take a rickshaw tour around the town, visiting factories where rattan mats and slippers are made.
Return to the ship for lunch and set sail towards the Cambodian border. During the afternoon onboard, the chef will give a demonstration of his fruit carving skills. In the evening, sip cocktails with your fellow travellers before sitting down to a sumptuous dinner.

Day 6 : Phnom Penh
This morning, take a bus tour of exotic Phnom Penh, taking in the spectacular Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, as well as the National Museum with its outstanding Khmer crafts. In the afternoon you have the option of either visiting the Khmer Rouge's grim Toul Sleng (S21 Detention Centre) and the Killing Fields; or spending the afternoon at your leisure. In the evening you will be treated to some Khmer folk dancing and songs.

Day 7 : Phnom Penh, Chong Koh Village
Spend this morning at your leisure. Around midday, the ship will set sail for Chong Koh, famous for its silk weaving artists. On arrival, you can take a leisurely stroll through the village, visiting home workshops where they make traditional silk and cotton handicrafts.
Return to the ship where a delicious lunch will be served as it sails back along the Mekong to Prek K'Dam. Relax on deck and watch the scenery pass by during the afternoon. In the evening enjoy dinner and cocktails to the sounds of the onboard pianist.

Day 8 : Oudong - Kampong Tralach
After breakfast a coach will take you to Oudong to visit a Buddhist monastery and meditation centre. From there, travel 45 minutes by coach to Kampong Tralach, to visit Wat Kapong Tralach Pleu temple. From here, take an ox-cart ride to the Tonlé River, travelling through the countryside, past rice fields and amused locals. In the evening return to the ship which will continue cruising towards Kampong Chhnang. Later, your tour guide will give a lecture onboard - Cambodia: The Past and Present.

*Note: the Tonlé Sap Lake's water level varies. An alternative itinerary may be followed if it is too low.
Day 9 : Kampong Chhnang, *Tonlé Lake
Kampong Chhnang is a rural port town with busy markets. Mooring mid-stream, take a boat excursion into the lakeside wetlands. An impressive variety of birds can be seen along with local life in the floating village.
High water : Return to the boat and sail towards Tonlé Lake whilst enjoying farewell cocktails. The ship moors near Siem Reap.
Low water : Return to the boat for lunch, after which the ship sails to Prek K'Dam, the cruise's final stop where it moors overnight. Enjoy a farewell cocktail party this evening.

Day 10 : Siem Reap
Enjoy breakfast onboard and then say farewell to the crew and guides.
High water : Disembark at Siem Reap and transfer by coach to Raffles Grand Hotel. This afternoon enjoy a tour of Angkor Wat, the world's largest temple. Take in the sunset over Angkor Wat before transferring back to your hotel.
Low water : Transfer by coach around the lake to Siem Reap, stopping at Spean Praptos Bridge. The drive is about 6.5 hours through stunningly beautiful countryside, with a picnic lunch. On arrival at Siem Reap you check into Raffles Grand Hotel for two nights. This afternoon enjoy an excursion to Angkor Thom, the Khmer's last capital, Terrace of the Leper King and the Bayon Temple.

Day 11 : Siem Reap
Following breakfast, visit the impressive Angkor Wat, the world's largest temple complex. Lunch is served at the hotel before an optional visit to Thommanon, Chau Say, Tevoda, Ta Keo and Ta Prohm or enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure by the pool or in town.

Day 12 : Siem Reap - Singapore - London
After breakfast, transfer to Siem Reap Airport for your flight home to London.
