Itinerary
Day 1 : London - Singapore - Siem Reap
Fly with Singapore Airlines to Siem Reap via Singapore*. Upon arrival at Siem Reap, meet your local guide who will escort you to the Raffles Grand Hotel D'Angkor. In the afternoon, take a tour of Angkor Wat and experience a sunset over the largest temple in the world before heading back to your hotel.
Day 2 : Siem Reap
After breakfast, take an excursion to the magnificent Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmers. Savour launch at Café D'Angkor Restaurant at Raffles before continuing on to see Thommanon, Chau Say, Tevoda, Ta Keo and Ta Prohm

*Note: the Tonlé Sap Lake's water level varies. An alternative itinerary may be followed if it is too low.
Day 3 : Siem Reap, Prek K'Dam
High water : Following breakfast transfer by coach to the pier and take a motor boat to the Cruiseco Adventurer. Enjoy welcome drinks and lunch before checking in to your luxurious cabin. Relax on deck or on your private balcony and enjoy the scenery as the ship cruises towards Kampong Chhnang. Enjoy your first gourmet dinner onboard with fellow travellers. The ship will moor overnight on Tonlé Sap Lake.
Low water : Transfer by coach around Tonlé Sap Lake to Prek K'Dam. The drive is approximately 6.5 hours through the beautiful Cambodian countryside. On arrival in the afternoon, embark onto the Cruiseco Adventurer. Welcome drinks and lunch will be served onboard before you check in to your luxurious cabin and later, enjoy the first of many gourmet dinners onboard with your fellow travellers.

Day 4 : Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Tralach
With the ship moored in midstream, take an excursion by motor boat into the lake-side wetlands that form the mouth of the river, complete with a floating village. After returning to the ship, it heads towards Kampong Tralach. On the way, you will have the chance of attending a lecture on Cambodia: The Past and Present in the lounge.

Day 5 : Kampong Tralach, Oudong, Phnom Penh
After breakfast, experience an ox-cart ride to the beautiful Vihara belonging to Wat Kapong Tralach Pleu. Buses await you and you travel about 45 minutes to Oudong which was the capital of Cambodia. Here you will visit a Buddhist Monastery, attend a Buddhist blessing ceremony and visit a Buddhist meditation centre.
Later, take the short 10 km bus ride back to the Cruiseco Adventurer at Prek K'Dam. Back on board in the early evening, the Captain raises the anchor and cruises towards the capital Phnom Penh. After a sumptuous dinner there is a Khmer folklore show in the lounge. Following the show you might sample one of the many bars located opposite the dock as the ship remains in Phnom Penh overnight.

Day 6 : Phnom Penh
This morning, take a bus tour of exotic Phnom Penh, taking in the spectacular Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, as well as the National Museum with its outstanding Khmer crafts. In the afternoon you have the option of either visiting the Khmer Rouge's grim Toul Sleng (S21 Detention Centre) and the Killing Fields; or spending the afternoon at your leisure. In the evening you will be treated to some Khmer folk dancing and songs.

Day 7 : Phnom Penh, Border Crossing, Tân Châu
Today, you can spend the day relaxing on board and watch the countryside glide by as the ship cruises the main Mekong Channel, an international shipping route. After lunch, there will be a cooking class by the chef and later you arrive into Tân Châu, the first Vietnamese town on the majestic Mekong River. The ship moors on the river tonight as you enjoy a gourmet dinner and cocktails onboard.

Day 8 : Tân Châu, Sa Đéc
Today will be truly memorable as you spend time in Tân Châu - a small town untouched by tourism. Later, enjoy sightseeing in local boats that navigate slender channels to see an evergreen island. Afterwards, you will go ashore and have a tour around the town on a rickshaw, visiting factories where they make rattan mats and slippers. In the afternoon, the ship cruises downstream to Sa Đéc. Join fellow travellers in the lounge for a lecture: "Vietnam - The Past & Present". The ship arrives in Sa Đéc whilst you enjoy dinner and moors midstream for the night.

Day 9 : Sa Đéc, Cái Bè
After breakfast visit the quaint little city of Sa Đéc, the hometown of Marguerite Duras' lover. Take in the old house of Huynh Thuy Le's, pagodas and the Fujian Temple and participate in the banter of local markets along the paved riverbanks. Across these banks, you will pass by the home of Marguerite Duras. Return to the ship in Cái Bè for lunch and in the afternoon take a local boat for your afternoon excursion to Cái Bè. Visit the French Gothic Cathedral, coconut candy factory, rice paper and pop rice factory. Return to the Cruiseco Adventurer and prepare for farewell cocktails and dinner and your last night onboard.

Day 10 : Mỹ Tho, Saigon
Enjoy breakfast onboard and then say farewell to the crew and guides of the Adventurer and disembark at Mỹ Tho. Transfer by coach to Saigon and check in to the Caravelle Hotel, Saigon. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure.

Day 11 : Saigon
Spend the morning sightseeing with your local guide. Tour the Reunification Palace (formerly known as the Presidential Palace), the picturesque colonial City Hall, Former US Embassy, General Post Office, Notre Dame Basilica and Ben Thanh Market. Lunch is taken at a local restaurant before you return to your hotel, with the afternoon at leisure.

Day 12 : Saigon - Singapore - London
After breakfast, transfer to Ho Chi Minh Airport for your flight home to London.
